Welcome to our school!
A school where children SHINE and are at the heart of every decision we make.
We provide a safe, happy environment which stimulates, challenges and motivates our children to develop their independence, responsibility and respect.
We encourage every child to SHINE, in their own unique and individual way and be..
- Safe
- Happy
- Independent
- Never give up
- Excel to be the best that they can be!
Our innovative SHINE curriculum is designed by and for our children and we believe prepares our children for life-long learning and equips them with the resilience to achieve success.
We are a two form entry infant school based in the heart of the community of Northway, which is situated on the outskirts of the historic Gloucestershire town of Tewkesbury. We are fortunate in having such a wonderful town nearby which is a constant source of historic information and provides with access to local artists, community groups and expertise.
I feel very privileged and proud to be the headteacher of Northway Infant School and I love coming to our wonderful school every day to see what learning is going to take place. All the children are the heartbeat of our school and watching them learn, grow and SHINE makes being a teacher the best job in the world!
We warmly welcome visitors to come and see how we SHINE in our school.
If you would like to come and visit, please contact our school office administrator, Maria Taylor via email at admin.nis@glatrust.org.uk or on 01684 293447
We hope you enjoy exploring our website to find out more about our ethos and why to us, it is the most important school in the world!

When I am not in school, I love spending time with my family and walking my two dogs, Enzo and Kingsley. You might find me playing tennis or even paddleboarding on the rivers around Tewkesbury!
